Merf Music Group is very happy to announce they resigned writers Terri Jo Box and Jon Henderson this year to the Company.  “


Terri Jo Box was signed as Merf Music Group’s first writer and is coming up on her 3rd year with our company. As a veteran of Nashville for the last decade plus, She has held the longest writers night in Town 2nd to the Blue Bird Cafe which she hosts every Monday Night at Dan McGuiness and is now in charge of booking the songwriters for Bobby Pinson’s writers night “Sing for your Supper”. She was influenced and encouraged by her Mom and Dad and by her dear friend Jason Sellers to make the move to Nashville from Texas in the 90’s , she followed her heart and has been on the road to success ever since. Terri Jo has written songs with some Nashville’s biggest hit writers and artist. She currently has a cut on Chelsea Bain’s new CD and Merf Music Group is so very blessed to have such a beautiful soul as a part of our family. We look forward to very successful year with Terri Jo Box



Jon Henderson is a very familiar name among songwriters and publishers in Nashville. He signed his first deal with Roger Murrah for Murrah Music in 2005 where he developed his skills as a hit writer. Then signed with Bug Music bringing him several cuts including the Craig Campbell song: “Family Manpeaking at #12 on the billboard country charts as well as the Brad Paisley cut “Toothbrush” just last year.

Merf Music Group is also very excited about the promising song he co wrote with Thomas Rhett and Lynn Hutton it’s sure to be a smash !
